First posting

New to this site, I am just testing things out for now. Just recently my Gram passed away and I was speaking to one of my cousins I haven't seen since I was maybe knee high. I saw she had a blog, so I linked to it only to find blogs of over a dozen family members. I so wish to reconnect with those I have lost touch with, so I here I am. Having no clue what to really do, but I am sure I will figure it out shortly.
I have two websites currently with blogs, pictures, profiles and what not.

http://www.facebook.com/jnfr917

my user profile is jnfr917 just about everywhere I go. You should be able to google it and find me. I don't visit myspace as often as I used to, but there are older pics there and facebook is my main addiction at the moment.

My name is Jennifer Ann Jensen, married in 1999 and became Jennifer Smith. I am daughter to Lars Peter Jensen and Debbie Ann Giles. Born in West Valley City, Utah on the date of September 17, 1974. I am the oldest of three. I have one full blooded brother and one half brother. Russell William Lars Jensen is a year younger than me. My half brother is Christopher Lee Bevilhymer and I think he is about 8 years younger than me.
I have two children, both boys. Roy Uriah Smith was born 6/20/98 (11 yrs.) and Logan Riley Smith was born 2/6/02 (7 yrs.). My brother Russell has no children and Christopher has one son, Colton, currently age 2.

My husbands name is Roy, but we call him by his middle name Dave. Roy is a family name and I felt the need to pass that on, so we named our son Roy as well, but we call him Uriah.

I work two jobs. One as a machine operator in a factory (minimum 40 hours a week) and as a cashier at a Wal-Mart (approximately 16 hours a week). I have been involved with scouting for over five years. I followed my first son in scouting, serving as a secretary, den leader and a brief stint as the committee chair before the pack disbanded. I resumed my duties in a different pack as an assistant den leader, because I wanted to see my son graduate to Boy Scouts. He graduated this summer and has went on to receive his Tenderfoot. Logan is a wolf in Cub Scouts, and I currently serve as his den leader. I plan on following him through the rest of scouting, unless someone with more experience and knowledge would like to lead. Once he graduates though, I think I am done serving in the world of scouting. I enjoy it, but it can tend to become time consuming. Logan also enjoys football and he was with the NIYTF this year and Uriah is in band, he plays a saxophone.

I think thatis it for now for my profile. I need to get to making dinner. Dave is at work and I hear my two boys rough housing in the next room...which they are not allowed to do.. but since Mom is on the computer....let's see what we can get away with. Until then
